OK, now this is really neat. Check out the new Canadian Motion Window Display No 200 on my revised COLLECTION DISPLAY page. Not only can you see a picture of the display through 4 quarter rotations but you can also see a movie of the display in action. Very cool!!

I've slimmed my YesterYear collection down to the 14 first issue models. My YESTERYEAR COLLECTION DISPLAY page shows those models in a YesterYear display/carrying case.

All my "E" box display cabinets are now pictured on the BOX TYPE "E" COLLECTION DISPLAY, page. Four cabinets can be seen flattened out by clicking on the "Wall Display" link at the top of the page.

A rather nice set of dealer sheets, that based on the models appear to be from 1962.

Those 2 new pages include the special dealer show models (only 300 sets made) as well the standard show models.

A new section showing Lone Star die cast models has been added. Starting point is primarily Impy Super Cars, Flyers, and Commercials. The models with many features compared to the Matchbox produced by LEsney during the same time period.

And the Superfast models have been renumbered consistent with Charlie Mack's "MB" prefixed numbering system. I think you'll enjoy the pictures and variations.

I'm working to improve the content and presentation on the Mugshots pages. The first cut at this can be seen on the BOX TYPE "G" MUG SHOTS pages. Larger mugshot profiles of each model are now available. And if extra information is available for that model, an image of the extra edition appears in the top right hand corner of the image. Also, moving the cursor over the image gives you the full model#, name, year, and box type in the mugshot. And finally, clicking on the image gives you a 330x440 full image of the model.

Work is complete for the my first 77 "G" boxed models. Stay tuned for "G" boxed variations as well as completion of the "E" boxed models which is currently under construction.

Be sure to check out the 1968 Selector Chart page for the front and back of the chart. I've also included an Extra Information page showing a blow-up of the image for the 25D illustration that clearly shows a pre-production model much like the 1967 Selector Chart shows for the 1E, 2D, and 46C models.

Images from the cover of the R-4 Grand Prix Race Track (with realistically banked corners) has been added to the ROADWAYS pages. This is probably one of the most favored roadways and was featured in a very hard to find and valuable gift set. As always the art work is superb.

Another collector catalog cover has been added; the 1966 Japanese edition. These Japanese catalogs are tough to find. Currently complete sets by year are 1970, 1965, and 1963.

A 1960 Hobby Shop catalog rounds out a collection of 1959 - 1961 pictures of displays used by hobby shops in those years. Go to the HOBBY SHOP CATALOGS pages to see some mouth-watering store displays and rare variations of early Matchbox regular wheel and YesterYear toys.

Have added the D2 New Model box for the 15C Dennis Refuse Truck on my Box Type "D" Mug Shots pages. This box variation shows the model w/o the "Cleansing Service" decal.

Another model has been added to the Box Type "A" Mug Shots page. The #5 London Bus is now part of my collection. Only 4 more to go...

• The BOX TYPE "F" MUG SHOTS pages include 119 440x330 pictures of all "F" box variations except for the elusive 14E Red SuperFast the even more elusive 22C.
• The BOX TYPE "F" COLLECTION DISPLAY page shows all the models and boxes in 3 Carney Plastics 84 compartment plexiglass cases and includes the following links:

  • BOX TYPE "F" ILLUSTRATIONS pages which show the art work found on the tops (and sometimes bottoms) of box type "F".

Found a very nice 1956 listing of the "Imported Matchbox Series" showing the first 18 models and the covered wagon available for sale in a Catalog of Model Railroads; Kits-Supplies-Accessories. You can see a closeup of the illustrated listing on my HOBBY SHOP CATALOGS pages.

A few more collector catalogs have been added (covers only); the 1962 International and the 1970 German editions. Also be sure to check out the Information added for the 1966 International catalog Editions A and B.

I've finally organized my "F" box collection to show all boxes and models. Am only missing the SuperFast Iso Grifo with Red SuperFast logo and of course the 22C Pontiac GP. Also took a more recent picture of my "D" boxed collection. More to come soon of the "G" boxed items.

A few new collector catalogs have been added (covers only); 1969 French 2nd Edition and 1970 International Edition. Just a few more are needed to complete my 1969 and 1970 catalog collection...
