YesterYears Pages revised

I sold all my YesterYear models sometime last year but recently have picked up some clean 1st release models unboxed. You can see pictures of those on my revised Models Of YesterYear page. Also, as of 12/31/03, I've added a few more models to the page. Almost a complete set!!

More Information

I've added extra info to the mugshots for the 18E Field Car and the 44B Rolls Royce.

More Box Type "F" Boxtops

Scans of box tops (and some bottoms) for model#s 31 - 42 have been added to the BOX TYPE "F" ILLUSTRATIONS pages.

Finally!! An "A" type box.

Yes it's true, I've finally added a Moko script "A" type boxed item to my collection. Actually 2; the 6A Quarry Truck and the 2A Dumper. Only have a picture of the 6A for now but the 2A will be there soon. Also have a 5A London Bus box w/no bus; so if you have a spare mint loose model please let me know. You can see the 6A on the BOX TYPE "A" MUG SHOTS page.

1970 Italian & Spanish Edition Catalog Covers

Covers for the 1970 Italian and Spanish Edition Collector Catalogs have been added to the Collector Catalogs page.

Box Type "F" Boxtops

I have collected almost all the variations of the box type "F", most recently aquiring the 50C Kennel Truck box with no Superfast logo on the face. To further display the "F" boxes, I've added a new section to the web site, BOX TYPE "F" ILLUSTRATIONS showing the box top (and sometimes box bottom) illustrations. This page is accessed from my BOX TYPE "F" COLLECTION DISPLAY page. Only two more boxes to go; the elusive "22C Pontiac Grand Prix Sports Coupe", offered to me for $1200!!, and the less difficult to find "14E Iso Grifo w/Red "Superfast" logo". Wish me luck.

1967 Selector Chart

Be sure to check out the new pages for the front and back of the 1967 Selector Chart. I've also included an Extra Information page showing blow-ups of the images for the 1E, 2D, and 46C illustrations that clearly show pre-production models.

Hobby Shop Catalogs

I've found some Hobby Shop Catalogs from the late 50's and early 60's that have some interesting early Matchbox displays. So far I've got the 1959 and 1961 catalogs on the page but keep an eye out for more as I've got a few more catalogs coming in. Be sure to notice the rare models on the 1961 display, a metallic green 23C (Bluebird Dauphine Trailer), a red/white 29B (Austin A55 Cambridge Sedan), and a tan 30B (Magiruz-Deutz 6 Wheel Crane Truck),

More Information

I've added extra info to the mugshots for several models to take you to a page of extra information for that model. Primarily you'll see pictures of the real cars found here and there on the web. For example check out the extra information page for the 19D & E Lotus Racing Car models.
